STUDENT SUCCESS ACADEMY
Inaugurated spring semester 2006 as a alternative educational setting to motivate students at risk of dropping out, the Success Academy has met expectations in terms of engaging students through personalized learning and relevancy. Students need to apply for the Academy and demonstrate commitment to its mission for each member of the cohort to receive a diploma.Two courses, English and Social Science students, and an internship composed the curriculum for its first semester. For 2006-2007, an additional teacher and core area (mathematics) will be offered; the enrollment will be increased from 40 to 60 students. We believe that our students can and will succeed. |
