STUDENT SUCCESS ACADEMY
Inaugurated spring semester 2006 as a alternative educational setting to motivate students at risk of dropping out, the Success Academy has met expectations in terms of engaging students through personalized learning and relevancy. Students need to apply for the Academy and demonstrate commitment to its mission for each member of the cohort to receive a diploma.Our mission is to create an atmosphere where students who are not engaged in, or challenged by, the traditional high school setting can achieve academic excellence, develop self-pride, and build character. We aim to empower students to take charge of their learning in order to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve success beyond high school. We believe that true learning takes place when each student is an active participant in his or her education. SAME STUDENT. DIFFERENT APPROACH. BETTER FUTURE. |
